How to install the New Compiz fusion

Install the new compiz fusion in ubuntu 8.04 and gos

Any One still work in ubuntu hardy 8.04 like me

want to upgrade the compiz fusion or install the new one

You’ll need to add a new repository that contains recent Compiz packages. Open System->Administration->Software Sources. Select the Third-Party Software tab and click Add. Paste in the line below and click Add Source.

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/compiz/ubuntu hardy main

Close Software Sources and when prompted, choose to reload the repositories

A number of software updates related to Compiz should become available now; install them using Update Manager. Log out and back in to Ubuntu or restart Compiz manually. You should now be up-to-dateTo take full advantage of the new version of Compiz, you need to configure the new effects from Compiz’s settings manager. If you had it installed previously, Advanced Desktop Effects Settings is now labeled as CompizConfig Settings Manager in the System->Preferences menu.

or run the terminal

sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager

now you can custom your effects from

System->Preferences->Appearance->Visual Effects

تنزيل احدث كومبيز فيجين ” المؤثرات 3d  ” للابونتو هاردي 8.04 او gos

اي شخص مازال يستخدم  ابونتو 8.04 هاردي  مثلي ويريد تحديث الكومبيز فيجين لاضافة المؤثرات الجديدة

انها خطوات سهله بداية عليك اضافة المستودع هذا عن طريق

System->Administration->Software Sources. Select the Third-Party Software tab

واضغط علي كلمة add

ثم ضيف هذا

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/compiz/ubuntu hardy main

بعدها نضغط علي Add Source

وبعدها اغلق واعمل تحديث للمستودعات وبعدها سيظهر بعض التحديثات الجديدة  الخاصة بالكمبيوز في مدير التحديثات قم بعمل هذه التحديثات

ان لم تظهر هذه التحديثات قم بفتح الطرفية الترمينال ونفذ هذا الامر

sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager

بعدها قم بتسجيل الخروج من ابونتو وسجل دخول من جديد وتمتع بالتأثيرات الجديدة مع كومبيز فيجين

تستطيع التعديل في التأثيرات الجديدة من هنا

System->Preferences->Appearance->Visual Effects

هل مازلت لا تنتظر الي ان يصدر النسخة النهائية من ابونتو 8.10 اذا لديك النسخة التجريبية بيتا

اذا كنت تعمل علي ابونتو 8.04 فتستطيع بسهوله تحديث النظام الي 8.10 بيتا عن طريق

نضغط علي Alt+F2 ثم نكتب "update-manager -d" سيظهر لك برنامج التحديث ويخبرك بوجود اصدار جديد للترقيه ثم نضغط علي Upgrade

اما اذا كنت تريد ان تنزل نسخة الابونتو 8.10 بيتا فلك بالروابط
