هل مازلت لا تنتظر الي ان يصدر النسخة النهائية من ابونتو 8.10 اذا لديك النسخة التجريبية بيتا

اذا كنت تعمل علي ابونتو 8.04 فتستطيع بسهوله تحديث النظام الي 8.10 بيتا عن طريق

نضغط علي Alt+F2 ثم نكتب "update-manager -d" سيظهر لك برنامج التحديث ويخبرك بوجود اصدار جديد للترقيه ثم نضغط علي Upgrade

اما اذا كنت تريد ان تنزل نسخة الابونتو 8.10 بيتا فلك بالروابط

Well, this sucks for Second Life. Google is launching a new service today called Lively,

a browser based virtual world

add-on that lets users create and customize avatars and worlds, interact with other users, and generally have a richer social interaction than is offered by GTalk today.

Worlds can be embedded into web pages, although only Windows users on IE or Firefox can view them, after an add-on download and installation. Mac and Linux users will have to wait for now.

Google has created a number of sample rooms that can be copied and altered, or users can start from scratch and build their own world.

Furniture and other items can be added and moved around. Avatars can talk to each other, do things like dance and shake hands, and manipulate objects (in a demo, my avatar was able to blow up drums of toxic waste by double clicking on them. Users can also, of course, chat with each other - GTalk is the underlying chat engine

أعلنت قوقل عن الإصدار التجريبي من خدمة الواب الجديدة Lively، وهي خدمة تهدف لتكوين وتأثيث صفحات الواب من خلال محتويات ثلاثية الأبعاد، والخدمة تشابه لحد ما تلك المقدمة من طرف SecondLife.، ولكن مازال يلزمها الكثير لتلتحق بها

وبداية، لإمكان استعمال Lively يجب تنزيل الملفات اللازمة لتشغيل هذا البرنامج، وهي ملفات عاملة على متصفحات انترنت “اكسبلورر” و”فايرفوكس”، ولكنها لا تعمل على متصفح “أوبرا” مثلا، بعد ذلك يمكن الدخول لموقع Lively ثم التسجيل والبدء في تكوين غرف افتراضية على الواب.

ترتكز فكرة الغرف الافتراضية، على توفير مجموعة من “الأثاث” ومن الشخصيات الافتراضية وبالطبع من الغرف مع إمكانية اختيارية كبيرة في كل من هذه العناصر، ومن خلال هذه المكونات يمكنك بناء غرفة وتجهيزها.

الغرفة المكونة، يمكن الدخول لها عن طريق عنوان واب محدد، يقوم موقع Lively مباشرة بتكوينه، كما يمكن نقل الغرفة الثلاثية الأبعاد لأي صفحة من خلال كود html، يتم نسخه ثم لصقه بصفحة الواب الهدف.

لاستغلال الغرف الافتراضية المكونة والعاملة على الأبعاد الثلاثة، يمكن استعمال الفارة للتنقل في مختلف الاتجاهات، كما يمكن استعمال الخواص التي يوفرها موقع Lively للتنقل وللقيام بالحكات بدقة في الفضاء من خلال واجهة البرنامج التي تتيح ذلك.

اري ان جووجل في هذا الصيف كان لها نشاط ملحوظ في كثير من الاشياء حول العالم

منها اتفاقها مع ياهوو باظهار الاعلانات ومنها ايضا تحديها للجميع واصدار متصفح قوي ومنها تطويرها من بريدها الالكتروني وسرعته الواضحه في التطوير الجديد ومنها اصدارها الي لفلي الجديد

اما عن البرنامج الجديد لم اجربه بعد ولكن لي اكثر من ملاحظة ان البرنامج مستهدف ايضا مستخدمي الويندوز خاصة في هذه المرة ولا اقوال عن نسخة منه للينكس ام لا وايضا والاغرب انه مستهدف خاصة متصفحين اثنين فقط وهما انترنت اكسبلورر وفيرفوكس لماذا لما يدعم كروم الجديد منه

Installing virtualbox on Ubuntu تنزيل الفاجول بوكس علي الابونتو

Virtual Box will allow you to run other operating systems inside of you Ubuntu installation.

You can run xp, other windows distro’s, solaris, freebsd

Installation is pretty easy, but there are some steps that might confuse new users.

There are two version, the open source one (in the Ubuntu repos) and a non open source one (available from their website).

In this guide I’m presuming you’ll install the one from the Ubuntu repositories (steps should be the same when installing the one from their site, or newer versions).

1. Installation

Open up a terminal and copy/paste this command

sudo apt-get install virtualbox-ose virtualbox-ose-source virtualbox-ose-modules-generic

If this won’t work for you or virtualbox complains that a module isn’t installed, open up synaptic and install virtualbox-ose-modules-2.6.24-19-generic (if 2.6.24-19 is the kernel you are running, for the moment in hardy that is the correct one).

2. Adding yourself to the group

Use this command in a terminal.

sudo adduser username vboxusers

Replace “username” with your own username.

3. Log out and back in

Do it.

Amanda Walker, a software engineer at Google, said in a posting to the company’s official Mac blog that the browser will be completely rewritten for the Mac and Linux releases

The developer also said that, with the release of the Windows build, the Mac and Linux versions would become ‘open’ projects so that users could track progress.

 

“For a number of reasons, much of the initial prototyping and design was done for Windows,” Walker wrote

كيفية تنزيل واجهة الكي دي الجديدة علي الابونتو

لا تنظر خلفك

الطريقة سهله

System -> Administration -> Software Sources

بعد ذلك نضغط علي Third-Party Software ثم نضغط علي كلمة Add ونضيف

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubuntu hardy main

وبعدها نعمل reload

والان هل انت مستعد لتنزيل الواجهة

اضغط هنا لتنزيل الواجهة

والان

نضغط علي زر  Yes

وبعدها سيبدأ البرنامج بتحميل الواجهة من الانترنت

مساحة الواجهة حوالي 158 ميجا وتأخذ مساحة علي الهارد حوالي 500 ميجا بعد التسطيب

لاحظ انك بعد تسطيب الواجهة تستطيع بكل سهولة

الاختيار ما بين استخدام واجهة جنوم او استخدام

واجهة كي دي الجديدة

والان تمتع بالواجهة الجميلة والمتميزة حقا في جمالها الكي دي الجديدة
